The Devil Made Me Do It.
A Presidential Duet

In my last essay, Amazing Grace, I mentioned that I would like to have someone in the White House responded to my suggestion that they read my essay to the COVID-19 Spreader-and-Chief. I happened to have a source who hasn’t contracted the coronavirus yet in the dysfunctional White House. That person must have read my Amazing Grace essay to Trump yesterday. I got an email from this person, which only contained the following logo. I assumed that the logo was just a clever code for I did what you asked me to do.

That person was giving me a heads up. A couple minutes later, I happened to hear that Donald the Dumb tweeted on Tuesday a radical change for Trump. Perhaps, our COVID-19 Spreader-and-Chief had a conversion experience like John Newton. Trump tweeted, “If I am sent a Stand Alone Bill for Stimulus Checks ($1,200), they will go out to our great people IMMEDIATELY. I am ready to sign right now.” That was good news. Additionally, Mr. Trump tweeted on Wednesday, “Move Fast, I Am Waiting To Sign!”

Time will tell whether our Spreader-and-Chief had a similar experience like Newton. I sat reading and rereading my friend’s email. Then I had an epiphany- esque experience. I pondered about how much Trump hates to admit that he made a mistake regarding anything. Why would he now admit that he is responsible for the deaths of many of the 210,000 deaths in America due to his inaction and his photo-op in the Rose Garden’s COVID-19 hotspot? So far, there are 105 new cases in Washington, D.C. At this present time, 20% of them are people in the White House or who have had contact with Trump while he tested positive.

Therefore, I emailed my White House informer with my idea to help Trump make his mea culpa. I sent my friend a Flip Wilson video. Flip Wilson has a rejoinder for our fake president, “The devil made me do it.”

After sending my email, I sat there watching President Obama sing again Amazing Grace.

Then it dawned upon me. On my birthday, January 20th, which will also be Joe Biden’s inauguration, we could watch Presidents Obama and Trump sing a duet of Amazing Grace. I’ll email my source in the White House about the presidential duet. However, from the photo op of our fake president’s triumphal return to the White House, he doesn’t look like he is back to his normal demeanor. However, he does look like he has lost a lot of weight. Maybe my friend should tell him to smile.

This photo reminds me of the picture of Caesar returning to Rome.
