Donald the Dumb created the situation that allowed the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v Wade by appointing three justices. It seems ironic that our former president is in court today, maintaining that he didn’t have Michael Cohen, his former fixer, make payments to two women in his hush money criminal case. Had either of the two women gotten pregnant, I wonder how Trump would feel about women’s right to have an abortion. Then there is a list of a couple of dozen known women who have accused Trump of unwanted sexual encounters, in addition to women who haven’t gone public. Methinks that the Donald would be against abortion except for him because he is the Orange Jesus.

Arizona’s Supreme Court reinstated the 1864 abortion ban with the only exception if the mother’s life is imperiled. Even Donald the Dumb knows that whenever any state creates anti-abortion laws, the Republicans lose the arguments and elections. Look at any poll about abortion; a majority of Americans want women to have the right to decide questions related to their reproductive choices.

There is a litany of issues about abortion. Most of those at the state and federal level deciding how women deal with their rights are men. Have any men had an unwanted pregnancy or had a fetal problem in their lives? However, men are making decisions for women. Women shouldn’t decide what they think they should be done. Additionally, many of the anti-abortion laws hold the doctors guilty of performing abortions. Also, when someone assists a woman going to a state that allows abortions, they, too, face jail time.

Women, their doctors, and those supporting pregnant women must adhere to laws written mainly by men. Now, I’m not a female, a doctor, or one assisting a pregnant woman. Also, I haven’t gone to medical school. However, what I did do while attending college, graduate, and post-graduate school was to think. Everyone from Trump down to any MAGA follower needs to think.

If you wish to stop the rights of women regarding their pregnancy, answer this question. How do women get pregnant? That is a no-brainer query. However, starting by addressing that issue would be much more productive. I’d argue that we need to create legislation that if a man gets a woman into an unwanted pregnancy, the man should be arrested and jailed. Punishing women for what men cause is the same mindset regarding Eve caused Adam to sin.

The famous Chicago architect Louis Sullivan made this famous axiom related to constructing a building: “Form follows function.” Apply that axiom to pregnancy. Males having sex with females creates pregnancies. It doesn’t make sense to punish a woman for an unwanted pregnancy when the man caused the pregnancy.

This is the alternative.

And Trump is in court today dealing with hush money payments because he wanted to silence two women with whom he had sex before the election eight years ago. Had either woman gotten pregnant, it would have been their fault, according to our “very stable genius.” We will soon see on TV Trump acting as “a very stable genius” in a courtroom in New York.
