And a Newer Gaming Video
This essay is about Kevin McCarthy, the former Speaker of the House. Allow me to explain; it is quite simple. Take a moment to watch this old video game called Pong.
Kevin needs Rogerian psychotherapy. Normally, Rogerian psychotherapy occurs in a 1:1 setting. The therapist sits across from the patient and asks simple questions during the session, like “How are you feeling?” Or “Hmm. Can you clarify that for me?” It is a technique that is a non-invasive therapy. It allows the client to express his or her feelings. Over time, the patient will discover what the psych problem is.
In troubled Kevin’s situation, he confuses anyone who asks him a question as a Rogerian therapist. When a reporter asks Kevin why he said or did something, he will give you a response.
For example, in the wake of January 6th, Kevin is asked whether he suggested to Trump that he should resign. Kevin denied having said it, which moved his pong. However, a recording of his statement to Trump emerged.
The recording forced Kevin to move his pong again.
It didn’t take long before Trump became irate, which caused Kevin to move his pong yet again. Kevin was soon on a flight to Mar-a-Lago. Kevin’s pong was his mea culpa to his master, the former president.
Trump was happy, but I wonder about Kevin.
Kevin is really into playing pong. It is his modus operandi. Now, he wants to impeach Biden.
Kevin supported extending the national debt with Biden, and now, he said, “But of all the dangers we face, the greatest threat to our future is our national debt.” When Trump extended the national debt, he said nothing.
I have a couple of suggestions for Kevin. The video world has dramatically changed since the era of pong games. I’d suggest Kevin look for a more up-to-date video game. I happened to be watching some new games available in October. The gamer provided his choice of the top 15 video games this month. My favorite video is Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which comes in at number two. This is one that I’m considering buying.
My other suggestion for Kevin is simple. Tell the truth.
