“I Could Stand in the Middle of Fifth Avenue….”
You Are Standing on Main Streets in America and Shooting

Trump doesn’t hold himself responsible for anything that goes bad or fails. We have gotten used to his mindset starting with Obama being born in Kenya, and then denying that he pushed that idea. The most recent apparition is that his administration didn’t delay a moment preparing for the coronavirus pandemic. Initially, it wasn’t anything for which Americans should be concerned.

When it became clear that Americans were contracting the coronavirus, getting sick, and dying, it wasn’t his fault. First it was the Democrats and their hoax. However, under his irresponsible leadership, we will get back to normal by Easter in America. He wasn’t lying. It was merely his aspirational desires. Our country will have resurrected itself from death and dying. Trump said, “Wouldn't it be great to have all of the churches full?” However, it was obvious that the time around Easter will be the worst killing times for COVID-19.

While Trump isn’t a doctor, he has set a new Easter date of May 1st. Trump’s response to the coronavirus shutdown was a truly stupid thing for even Donald the Dumb , he tweeted, “WE CANNOT LET THE CURE BE WORSE THAN THE PROBLEM ITSELF.”

While Trump pines away with this question, “Wouldn't it be great to have all of the churches full?” He has returned to pushing hydroxychloroquine and that the World Health Organization (WHO) missed addressing the pandemic. WHO and he both missed the mark. That is like the kettle calling the pot black.

As for the miracle drug, hydroxychloroquine, those in the medical profession state there are no valid test results on hydroxychloroquine’s efficacy treating COVID-19. Beyond the total lack of testing, medical professionals have the all necessary data to caution its use due to potential side effects with patients who have preexisting medical issues.

While Trump spends a couple of hours daily talking about what he feels, he is dreadfully wrong about another of his favorite truisms: “I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters.” His is standing on 5th Ave. and is literally killing people on 5th Ave. and Main Streets throughout America.

While Trump plays the blame game, he is responsible. However, his nemesis, President Obama, is his main target. Sean Hannity of Fox News interviewed Trump regarding the COVID-16 pandemic. Trump blamed Obama for the deaths of Americans from the swine flu. Trump maintained that Obama did nothing to stop it. Psychologically, that is called projection. Trump blamed Obama for his own lack of addressing the coronavirus problem. This is what Trump said on March 4, 2020.

Well, I just say that it’s, you know, a very, very small number in this country. And we’re going to try and keep it that way as much as possible. I will say, though, the H1N1, that was swine flu, commonly referred to as swine flu. And that went from around April of ’09 to April of ’10, where there were 60 million cases of swine flu. And over — actually, it’s over 13,000. I think you might have said 17. I had heard it was 13, but a lot of — a lot of deaths. And they didn’t do anything about it. Interestingly, with the swine flu, children were — in particular, they were vulnerable, sort of the opposite in that respect. But children were very vulnerable to the swine flu. But they never did close the borders. I don’t think they ever did have the travel ban. And we did. And, again, they lost at least 13,000.

The CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) claims that less than 12,500

Americans died between April 2009 and April 2010 due to the swine flu. If one compares the death tolls of that year due to the swine flu with the three months of the COVID-19 in America, there are over half again more Americans that have died as the result of the coronavirus than the swine flu. The total of deaths of COVID-19 was within three months compared to a year of the swine flu.

While we are comparing responses for Obama and Trump to pandemics, more people have died in America due to COVID-19 than any country in the world. Additionally, we have one third of the total confirmed cases worldwide. Trump reassured Americans, “We have it totally under control.” He might have to walk back that comment.

“Shhhh. I’m thinking.”

If one uses the various models and their predictions for death totals range, they range from 100,000 and 240,000 Americans. The confirmed cases and those who have died in the past three months rests on the doorstep of Trump’s lack of leadership.

Let us look at Obama’s leadership. The first confirmed person in America was diagnosed on April 15, 2009 based upon the CDC records. Eleven days later, April 26, 2009, Obama issued a public health emergency. The photo is of Obama with his White House staff discussing the swine flu two weeks after the first case was diagnosed. The meeting was held on May 1, 2009.

The swine flu pandemic

Trump, you are an abysmal president. Even a worse, you are an appalling wartime president.
