Rage, Rage...
Against the Pissing Pug

There are some essential benefits that I have noticed in my advancing age. Dancing with death did sensitize me to understand the limited amount of time that I have on Earth. I realize that reality at a far deeper level than I did prior to doing either of my dances. It is an interesting dichotomy. I get that my time is limited, and, therefore, I am active. However, having been successful leading death makes me keenly aware that I won’t be able to lead death forever.

Trust me; I get Dylan Thomas’ poem, Do Not Go Gently Into That Good Night.

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

I will “not go gentle into the good night...Rage, rage against the dying of the light.” Look at the essays about which I write: sexism, racism, xenophobia, homophobia, etc. I rage at 74 at these -isms. Interestingly, all those -isms are applicable to Donald the Dumb, our fake president. Nonetheless, Donald the Dumb isn’t the only village idiot; there are more living in villages throughout the world.

A couple of months ago, I wrote about an essay, Fearless Girl. I raged at the sculptor who did the bull.

You go girl.

Arturo Di Modica, the village and sexist idiot, thinks that his bull has been desecrated by the statue of the Fearless Girl. Okay. The Fearless Girl did stand up to sexism. She showed up and desecrated sexism. That rattled Di Modica’s muscularity that believes males whether bulls or men are being limited by the Fearless Girl and her followers.

The Fearless Girl hurt my bull....

I dissed Di Modica. Males, whether bulls or men, aren’t the rulers of all. The days of sexism are slowly but surely fading. I bet Di Modica was a Donald the Dumb supporter on issues like sexism and being macho. They both complement each other’s thinking or lack thereof. The bull or humans that act in that manner are incorrect about the bull’s modus operandi. Being bullish isn’t an operative word in the 21st century. It is sexist. Di Modica see being bullish a tribute to masculinity. Being bullish is a statement about one inferiority not superiority. Di Modica hasn’t gotten that truth, but many others have.

Di Modica is saying that feminine insights and behavior are inadequate. Yo, Di Modica, I am a male and your feeling that the Fearless Girl demeans your masterpiece is due to your blatant sexism and your inferiority.

That is as blatant nonsense, but it does point to the truth of his issue about masculinity. Being bullish is not the same thing as having integrity. Donald the Dumb is bullish along with Di Modica’s bull, but that doesn’t mean that they or men are better, smarter, more talented, etc. than women. On the contrary, precisely the opposite.

Males acting superior to women is based upon their feeling of inferiority not superiority. Someone who swaggers around acting superior or better does so because of feeling inadequate. Donald the Dumb talks about the size of his hands and his private parts being large...he believes they are large.

However, on May 29th, Alex Gardega entered the fray with his masterpiece entitled, Pissing Pug, which is urinating on the Fearless Girl.

The Fearless Girl faces sexism.

Why did this village idiot create his masterpiece? His answer was, “It has nothing to do with feminism...And it is a disrespect to the artist that made the bull. That bull had integrity.”

Integrity. Say who?

Gardega stated, “If they can invade the bull’s sacred space, I can invade its sacred space.” This village idiot talks about the bull’s sacred space. Well, Di Modica took that sacred space without permission. He merely set up his masterpiece without obtaining an okay from the officials in New York City. Gardega’s term, sacred space, means if a male decides something, it becomes sacred. That is BS, which is like what we hear from our fake president.

Di Modica, Gardega, and Donald the Dumb need a history lesson. The universe emerged as the result of the big bang, which occurred 13.8 billion years ago. If we reduce 13.8 billion years in the Cosmic Calendar, which is a year of 365 days, then we have some perspective of the vastness of time since the big bang. This is what the Cosmic Calendar looks like.

The Cosmic Calendar

Humans began living in cities in the last 16 seconds of the last minute of the last hour of the year. Dinosaurs emerged on December 25 and died out 5-days later on December 30th. Humans are insignificant to the vastness of time and space, but some see themselves as the most important thing in the universe.
